back in march 07, drag city issued rtxs second ball busting album, under a title that we all really loved and you did too. but the man! the man came down on them, telling drag city that in a court of law the album with that title would be struck down and that they must cease and rethink. thusly armed, drag city went to rtx and told them that a rebirth was at hand. fortunately, they were up for the change - and ratx is the inevitable result! containing the exact same contents as its former self, ratx has the additional benefit of being released in a super limited vinyl edition.

tayos distinctive dub breaks style has forged its way forwards onto a worldwide platform with impressive dj sets and radio shows on kiss and bbc radio one. his fusion of other genres into breakbeat can clearly be heard on his fabric live 32 mix cd, which is an absolute corker! this time around he is not alone and teams up with the dynamic duo ctrl z. they also have an impressive repertoire with releases and remixes under their belts on respected labels such as 777, hardcore beats and rat records. its no surprise then that we have a heavy dub influenced groover everytime, which makes a perfect summer time party tune. on the flip lovers rock teases it way from a slower reggae groove to a full force bassline that will tear any dancefloor apart.

>them shepherds< is a helsinki-based duo which is formed by aku raski (huoratron) and tuomas laitinen in 2005. they imaginatively marries organic instruments with electronic sounds. raski fervently pounds on classic roland beatboxes and synthesizers, while laitinen strums a guitar and handles the vocals. the result, an unholy alliance of machines and human touch. here comes the remixes to their rockin tune >rattlesnake<
